Refund and Returns Policy

Cancellations

If you want to cancel an order write to us at namaste@indicroots.com. You can cancel an order within 2 hours of placing it without incurring any cost. Your refund will be automatically processed. The full amount will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment. It normally takes 5–7 days for the amount to reflect in your account. We do not accept cancellations after 2 hours of placing an order as the product may already be in transit to your destination. In this case, please refer to the Returns section below.

Returns Policy

We do not accept return requests due to the nature of materials and the usage of the products – we would like our customers to be ensured of the hygiene of the product as these are for little kids and hence do not take any products back unless there is a transit damage. Books are also not returnable. Return requests placed after 24 hours of receiving are unfortunately non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Do also make sure you are returning the product for a genuine reason. 🙂

If the product is damaged

In case you receive a damaged product, please send us an email with the photo of the product received and the Order ID to namaste@indicroots.com within 24 hours of receiving the product.  We can offer you replacement, repair, or refund.

  • If you choose to get a replacement, we will pick up and replace the product free of cost.
  • If you choose to get a refund instead of a replacement for a defective/damaged product, it will be credited to your original method of payment within 7 working days.
  • If the product is repairable, we are happy to help you with that at no additional cost. You will need to bear only the cost of shipping the product to us and getting it shipped back to you after repairs are made. 

Our products are designed to be sturdy and crafted with care. However, they may break or suffer damages if handled roughly. If the product gets damaged after use (two weeks or more after purchase), we will not be able to accept a return or offer a refund.

Please note that we reserve the right to reject return requests from customers in case of frequent returns from them (> 3 returns in a financial year). Some pin codes are also not feasible for a reverse pickup, in which case we will need to ask you to ship it back to us. We do not offer reverse pickups outside India.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the received condition of the item. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and the refund amount will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
